Caring for Your Heirloom Quilt
Each quilt from Jancy’s Fancies is thoughtfully handcrafted using premium cotton fabrics and carefully finished to be both beautiful and durable for everyday nursery use. With proper care, your quilt is designed to be treasured for years — and even generations — to come.
✨ Washing
• Machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle
• Use cold water
• Wash separately or with like colors
• Use a mild, baby-safe detergent
• Avoid bleach or harsh stain removers
Hand washing is always the gentlest option when possible.
✨ Drying
• Tumble dry on low heat
or
• Lay flat or hang to air dry for best long-term preservation
Removing the quilt promptly from the dryer will help maintain its softness and shape.
✨ Ironing
If desired, press on a low cotton setting.
Avoid direct heat on any embroidered areas or decorative finishes.
✨ General Care
• Do not dry clean
• Avoid high heat when washing or drying
• Expect slight softening and gentle crinkling over time — this is a natural characteristic of high-quality cotton quilts
